attending an HBCU i am exposed to a plethora of creative minds from artist to musicians, models to designers & i always like to promote them in anyway i can...
this months comes from two guys in the AUC: RK Jackson & AJ Chambers...they have a blooming clothing business originating out of the amazing ATLANTA, GA.
when i heard about it i did some reading up on it & talked to RK myself...
here is what i found...
the intro to the site blew me away:
"SIX&7 was born into this world through an equivocal mind in Atlanta, Georgia. Is it possible? A Clothing company that actually inspires the masses and could change the game as we know it?! Yes. SIX&7 is more than just a clothing company it's a Revolution, "A Movement of sorts..." SIX&7's bold take no prisoners messages leave you with an open mind and a unmatchable swagger. Our designs tell a story of Hope, Hurt, Love, Loss, and Understanding. SIX&7 was designed for the elite few who strive to be different, aspire to be better, and dream of the seemingly unreachable. With a market flooded with new designers, SIX&7 is here to rescue the style leaders and take them to a new level of flyness. We want to represent the Lyricists, Singers, Writers, Artists, Designers, Students, Producers, Photographers and Actors of Generation X & Y. We are not your brother's clothing line...WE ARE SIX&7!"
"all I can say is make sure they stay tuned, hopefully there will be an appearance in some upcoming fashion shows in the fall (shooting 4 homecoming) and the fall collection should be out in July-Early August" -RK
